i dont know why but everytime i write on a post it seems to end the conversation. i feel out of place on this site, i figured people who are all involved in a mustang community would be really welcoming but i certainly havent felt that. and for some reason this site wont let me create posts and i been having a few problems with my 11 gt and wanted to see if anyone could help but i cant create a post.

When you are logged on you should be able to select "New Tread" to create a new post.

Over rate and they get sued for false advertising. Under rate and they have some variance for fuels...

^^^ IIRC there was a huge issue in like '98-'99 where Ford had rated the Cobra's at...I forget now...295 hp? Whatever the case, some magazines were unable to get the Ford official 0-60 times (like, the were off by .5-1 sec) and when the dyno'd the car, it was missing 30hp or something. There was a whole class action whoop-de-do and ever since, Ford has been very conservative in their HP ratings. Which I think is fine really...people that care about performance will be bench racing vehicles in magazines before they're even released, and then taking the cars to dyno shops/modding them anyway. With this new "internet" thing, vehicle specs get passed around and discussed amongst a much larger audience, so underrating probably doesn't hurt sales as much as you'd think.
