Default Picked up 43 hp with a JLT CAI & BBR Tune on my 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L

Did baseline on the car on a dynojet dyno and it made 350 rwhp / 332 rwtq 100% completely stock on 93 Octane fuel.

Then put a tune in it with a stock setup using BBR Tune w/ SCT software. It then made 375 rwhp / 354 rwtq on 93 octane with JUST A TUNE.

Then they installed a JLT Carbon Fiber CAI onto the car and it jumped up to an amazing 393rwhp/377rwtq on 93 octane.

Also tested the Steeda CAI. The Steeda CAI is just as awesome! My car made 393rwhp/376rwtq on 93 octane.

Picked up 43 rwhp and 45 rwtq over stock with a tune and a JLT CAI.
Picked up 43 rwhp and 44 rwtq over stock with a tune and a STEEDA CAI.

Those numbers are in-line with others reporting their dyno #'s on their 5.0. But I've also heard that after the engine "loosens up " after a few thousand miles, those dyno #'s may increase by about 20-30 or more RWHP. I find it hard to believe but more than one person has posted that.

yea, it's not that i dont believe it, bc i've seen on AM and other places that report similar gains. which is very impressive for a tune/CAI compared to earlier year mustangs.

but i would just like to see the dyno graph to see exactly where the increases occur.

This isn't really surprising considering the 3v 4.6L picks up as much as 25-30 rwhp on a tune, CAI and premium fuel.

Thats some awesome numbers for a CAI and tune. I know there was a huge difference when i dropped the Steeda CAI and tune on mine. I'd really like to get my car on a dyno to see where it's at.
