To put a bright shiny point on it, that is the truth, Ford KNOWS it and
DOES NOT CARE.
They will not care until they start getting BAD press about it.

I took mine back a week after I got it to trade it in for my OLD car it is so bad.
For some stupid reason I let them convince me otherwise.
It will take someone getting killed for Ford to admit that there is a problem.

What type of 6 speed does the GT500 have? Sam as the GT?

No, I believe it uses a TR6060.

AFAIK, the TR-6060 is fairly bullet proof.

D&D Transmission has them for sale. Dont know if they have developed bellhousings for the 5.0 just yet, but Im sure its being developed now.

IMO, if i were to buy a 5.0 with manual.... this would be my first upgrade.
