Forgot the security package. I had the $1000 rebate and another $750 special rebate.

Here's the math:

Invoice 34,253
Rebates -1,750

32,503

So my deal was about $600 above invoice. I'm OK with that. Love the car.

I am currently dealing through email to get a new 5.0 and this is what they are oferring me:

$28,768 (invoice price includes adv fee & destination price)
-$894 discount
-$2,000 rebates
=$25,874 + $297 dealer prep fee + $475 dealer doc fees

I still don't like the idea of paying a $490 adv fee + $772 in dealer fees.

Any luck anyone not paying the adv fee and dealer fees?

BTW it's a base 5.0 with no options.

Well, according to my paper work:
- $31,340 for the car (MSRP was $36K)
- 2,000 for PA sales tax
- 33.50 for "License Fees"
- 5.00 for "Tire Tax Fees"
- 123.00 for "Processing Fees"
- Total: ~$33,500 OTD

No other fees that I can see - of course, they may have snuck some stuff in with the price of the car - who knows????

With the AMEX car buying program.
amexnetwork.zag.com/main.html

The base GT has holdback amont of $900 so there's still room to negogiate below invoice.

Just email different dealers and negotiate that way, it's much easier and hassle free.

I just made the following deal and will be picking up the car tomorrow.

2011 GT Premium, 6-speed, Brembo, Comfort, 3.73 with 1300 miles for $29,000 plus tax/title/license and $285 dealer fees. Should end up being about $31,100 OTD

The car was purchased on A-Plan for $32,700 (before taxes and fees) a few months ago. The owner brought it back and traded it for a 2011 Shelby GT500. He also traded in his '08 GT 500. The '08 is available at Downtown Ford in Louisville for $35k.

Dcar, nice purchase! Thats a steal for a GT that loaded.

I think I would be satisfied with a base 6MT with brembo and 3.73.

Did I read once you HAVE to get a certain package (IE Premium) to get brembo's?

r00st - nope, GT and GT premium both can have the brembo package. Brought her home tonite. Very happy with the purchase (anyone wanna buy an '04 TL?). Pics later in another thread.

Oh, and the GT500 left the lot while I was there.
