Question KONI STR.T + Steeda sport Springs

Does somebody has the Koni STR.T + Steeda sport springs on their 2011 GT?, And how do you compare it to stock?. Did you like it, or you wish you had bought instead the Koni sport shocks?

I'm installing STR.T and Eibach Pro Kit springs today.I'll report back later on how this set up compares to stock.

My friend has the STR.T/Steeda sport springs and loves the ride.I can tell you just going to a new wheel and tire combo has made a big difference in handling on my base GT

I'll hit the canyons later and see how this baby responds

Sport springs aren't the same as the Extreme Sport right?

with the extreme being the lowest drop 1.75" FT/2.00" rear

No, they are not the same... and there are actually two Sport springs. Everyone else sells them interchangeably, I do not and definitely prefer one over the other.

Which do you prefer and is there anything on the horizon for these cars that you would recommend over the Sport springs?

Hey, order from Sam and you will get the right springs.

Remember guys to purchase the pre 2011 strut mounts before installing the front struts.

Cheers.

Well, you never know what might happen... but the fact is I've played with various heights and spring rates both stiffer and softer--and I like these best.

Thanks. Got a 2012 on order and will be getting with you as soon as it comes in. You have always taken time with me when I have called during the past year even though I did not purchase anything. I would suggest anyone wanting suspension upgrades to check with Sam Strano. Seven time Auto X National Champion says something about his knowledge of these cars. He will tell you straight out what will work and what will not. A great resource for those of us less knowledgeable. One of the reasons I decided on the Mustang is knowing that I could get the most out of it with Sam's knowledge.
