Default Anone try no h or x pipe?

Just curious if anyone has tried this yet? This would give the deepest sound with the cool sound of individual banks firing. I had this done on my GTO before I had the exhaust changed to another brand. I just had a thought that this combo of true dual with no x or h might lend itself really well to the coyote.

I think true duals would be less efficient than an x or h pipe setup.

Yes, but people greatly exaggerate the difference. On my GTO it was a difference of three horsepower going from true dual 2.5" with flowmaster super 40s, to an x-piped 2.5" Magnaflow cat back. 408hp vs 411. The tune on the car was also improved between sessions.

I'm not sure you can even quantify 3HP on a dyno, that's well within normal variances between runs.

Exactly my point, though I did see the peak horsepower rpm creep up a bit

If you want to sound like a no muffler truck, go for it.

edit: I may be thinking of straight pipes with no mufflers. Disregard this until I can find a video to hear what you're talking about.

2 of my friends did this.
stock manifolds, no cross over mid pipe, and flowmasters.
without the crossover, it does have a deeper sound, and more of the exhaust pulses.
sounds almost like they have a mild cam.
