Default Whats my chances?

Well I was gonna wait for a used 2011 5.0 due to my credit is not the greatest nor terrible. With these credit scores equifax~598 Experian~565 Transunion~616( it was listed as fair in all 3 categories) & 7 grand cash do you guys think I could get a new 5.0 or pre owned 5.0? I figured I would ask here before driving to the stealership. Thanks guys!

Yes it's possible ... you can get a 2011 5.0 for 25~30 with 5-15k miles

You should have no problem getting the loan/car, but I just wouldn't expect a good interest rate for it. Just picked mine up new with 2.9% interest (with excellent credit). You just about always get better interest rate with a new car. I'd just go to the dealer and see what they're willing to work out with you. Never hurts to try.

You have the money down needed at those scores but you are going to get raped on intrest like 13-16%. I would take a better look at your scores and correct a few errors and get the scores up which will save you 3-5k in intrest charges all for a little work and about 3 months time.

+1, anything above 5 or 6% and you're already paying too much for interest. You're better off holding on buying a car until you can fix your credit. But if you really want one really bad...you'll be paying up the you-know-what for sure.

You sound like you will be a tier 3 or tier 4 through Ford credit. They could get you done in a second with those credit scores and that money down. You just need a long time on job (tell them to lie for you if needed) and time in home. Go for it and I bet you will get the tier 3 rate of 7.9% for 72.
