Default 2011 Mustang 5.0 Headers by Stainless Works

Mustang GT headers with 1-7/8" primary tubes, 3" X-Pipe and 3" dia offroad lead pipes that mate to the factory connection point. Tig welded 304 SS headers with 3/8" thick flanges and 3" dia slip fit collectors with Merge Spikes. This system replaces the factory manifolds, catalytic converters and H-Pipe with a superior performing lifetime guaranteed bolt-on system.

i have the offroad x with my headers (yes they are yours), any way to quiet this thing down? its hooked up to a kooks cat back.

Put in a catted X or some quieter mufflers....don't know what else to say really. I know some autocrossers, on courses where there are noise restrictions, stuff steel wool into the exhaust pipes and then hold it in place with screen...but I don't think you want to do that.

steel wool?, cant run cats, i have a wot box and they are not great for cats, and i know quieter mufflers, but i'm wondering if they might have something to say, after all its their product

Sound is determined by your muffler. Maybe there is a spot you can add some resignators into your existing system, this will help a bit too.

Sorry, no plans on our end. The x-pipe provides great power across RPM band and really provide a good clean sound.
