You think that's too loud? Try adding an O/R x-pipe! I have an Airaid CAI, Magnaflow O/R x-pipe, Roush axlebacks, and 91 tune and my 5.0 sounds like a pissed off wild beast! I couldn't even imagine the ungodly noise this thing would make with a set of LT's on her!
I still trying to decide if the JLT oil separator is worth the $120 or if I should put that toward the Boss intake.

Read some more. Boss is only needed if you've done enough mods to utilize it.

Keep the oil separator! You don't want all of that gunk in your intake.

So you dont think a CAI w/91 tune & an off road pipe is not enough to support the boss intake?? Whats left? L/T headers, UDP's, gears. I think he has enough mods. But how about the folks here who have the Boss. What mods do they have?

Long tubes definitely. A CAI and off road H isn't enough.

I dont' believe you need anymore mods for the boss intake, but I also dont have a dyno or 1/4 mile slip yet to back that up.

Glad to see a couple other folks who agree with me. The factory headers are actually pretty decent & do a good job. I think they would be just iceing on the cake to be honest.
