Well, my 5.0 is still on order, so I haven't got under the hood yet. It was just a suggestion of what might be a simple problem. If it's steam instead of smoke, it could be the window washer cap. You just have to locate it.

Break in period, just keep topping the oil off. You have quite a bit of warranty left. If it is a problem it will get worse, not better. Just keep an eye if it's using more or less oil over time before you let the dealer start tearing your motor apart.

be careful now, depends on if the smoke is coming out of the exhaust or the engine bay, we've already seen one engine fire and the huge fiasco that was. (still unresolved on who will pay for it) you can't be too dismissive on smoke. sounds like engine bay, in which case you need to takea close look at everything and make sure nothing is melting the other engine fire looked like it started near the battery, which would be the right side if you are sitting in the driver's seat.
