As i hit wot and the rpms approach the redline the tach turns red for a sec then goes back to normal when it switches to the next gear. Is this normal when running a tune? It did not do this stock. And its an auto tranny. And it only does it sometimes not all the time. Any input?

It's the car getting mad at you for revving too high j/k.

it's like a shift light. Once it hits redline or close to it, then the light comes on.

Good chance the tune lifted the rev shift point to just beyond redline.

Gas gauge also turns red when you have around 5 miles left on the tank.

Going for broke

Volt gauge is red when key on but not started.., oil pressure is red for an instant after car starts until oil pressure builds.. Thats the beauty of the my color dash set-up.
I have noticed my car will do the same thing in the second to third shift (red tach) the limiter on my steeda tuned car was raised to 7000 I believe.
