I will be moving in a few months.

Went to Apple Ford. They were striaght up w/ me. (I played dumb a little.). They've never seen anything like that in a sub-900 mile car. They took pics and sending it off to Ford for a determination. Service manager said that it's an 80% chance that Ford will cover it. "It could have gotten something on it just before you bought it and washing it 4 times in a week aggravated the chemical." We'll see.

I hate to tell you this man but there are a couple ford employees that come on this site, if they see this post and find out that it was brake dust they may not fix it

Sure, they are here to solicit customer service, which I have no objections to, but I cannot help but feel they are also here to look out for such fraudulent attempts (kind of "spy" on the boards all over the net).

So do be careful what you post on the net.

exactly what I was thinking, I mean how much money could these customer service reps be bringing Ford by posting on forums, to justify their pay, sure makes you wonder..

I JUST got off the phone w/ the Service Manager. FORD os covering the re-paint on Scarlette. I drop her off on Monday Morning!
