CAI to get with Tuner
Im trying to see if there is any difference in CAI setups. Thers quite a difference in price on American Muscles website when bundled with a tuner. Im thinking im going to go with the lowest price CAI, since it seems they all do the same thing.
Can anybody make a point to support my methodology?
Thanks,

I always use the phrase "you get what you pay for" when ordering parts, or anything that I'm going to be using or showing off. I ordered the JLT CAI and the SCT X3 Tuner and got a Bama tune and I love it. I didn't get the carbon fiber CAI, I didn't see a need in paying an extra $150.00 to get the same performance but instead of plastic its carbon fiber. I'm VERY happy with the decision in buying the JLT CAI, it screams when you get on it, not only can you here it on the inside but on the outside as well. The next car I get I will go back to a JLT CAI. Hope this helps

You basically get different materials, Steeda made a post showing different CAI manufacturers with the same tune and they all came out the same. as far as power goes, no difference. For fit/finish and looks is what you pay for.
the exception ofcourse is you dont want a K&N filter, they do nothing. You dont want the procal tuner. get the SCT tuner (SF3). Steeda I believe has the highest quality of materials and best looking CAI, but you'll probably be happy saving 80 bucks and getting JLT instead.
