Default 60 ft times on stock pirelli's???

I finally got a chance to make it to the local 1/8 mile track last night. I had a great time and my best pass of the night was an 8.92 @ 86.37mph my 60ft time was 2.34. As the title says im running the stock 19" pirelli's and the car is all stock. no burnout and launching between 1800-2300 rpm. I was wondering if this is about average or should I lower tire pressure and warm them up? and what kinda difference I may see? im saving up for some NT05R's but just trying to stay in the 8 second range until then. Thanks for any help...

My best 60' time on the Pirelli P-Zeros was 2.071", which got me a 1/8' time of 8.425". I launch at around 3000-3500rpm with heavy clutch slipping. Anything under that and the engine just bogged.

My best ET at the 8th was 8.386" with a 2.121" 60'. That 8.386" translated to a 12.759" at the 1/4' (it was a 1/4' track). Here, I'll post a picture of the slips - the one on the right is actually pretty close to what you ran. I bogged pretty bad on that run.

Thanks for the info hawkeye, was that with or with out a burnout? what was your tire psi? I might have to try and launch a little harder and see how that goes.

Lowered the rears to about 20psi and just did a one or two second burn-out to get the schmutz off the tires. Don't forget to pump the fronts up as well - they're just rolling resistance at a strip.
