I could'nt say exactly. I can only guess, and I am guessing that 12PSI boost is probably where the risks are too great.

To possible help put this in perspective, the FRPP supercharger kit rated at 525 BHP (this is crank, not at the wheels). This is rated at 7PSI boost manifold.

The 525 BHP kit comes with warranty protection.

The FRPP 624 BHP kit (again, only at the crank, not at the wheels) is rated at 9PSI boost.

The 624 BHP kid does not come with warranty.

FRPP is not comfortable offering warranty at 9PSI because their bean counters calculated the risk of engine failure is too high for their profit margins.
For our purposes, chances are it probably will stand up to that 9PSI without problems, but the risk is still there.

Hmm ok good to know. I guess i'll really have to talk to some good tuning shops around by me and find out how what they think the real limit of the block is and if I can get away with FI on a stock block. Thanks for all the help. One last question, I've been searching but I can't find any good (up to date) threads on respectable tuning shops in Northern New Jersey (or anywhere close for that matter). Know of any good ones or any up to date threads for that?

I wish I could answer that one.

I do know that on the East Coast, Bama/American Muscle is there, but I cannot remember where. For some reason, I am thinking they are in Florida.

Try giving them a call, they even have deals for us MF members.
