I don't know any way to describe this noise? other than a "clung" or a "pop".
But it seems to happen while I'm downshifting, and (or) while I'm braking to almost a complete stop. Hopefully, somebody knows what I'm talking about.
Just want to know if someone has experienced this, and of course is this something I should take to the dealer to look at?

It could be the lower control arms, mine made a similar sound and I had them replaced. Have them checked.

It's something I don't notice all the time, but it's a little a annoying. Esp. being
a new car. Right now I can only imagine what this car is going to sound like as it gets older.

So, you don't think it's some play in the transmission -- as a pop letting off
the clutch? Just wondered w/ all the complaints w/ the tranny.

Ive noticed the clutch making a "clunking" sound occasionally while im letting the pedal out. Not sure if its actually the clutch, or just the clutch pedal making noise.

I know, exactly what your talking about. Mine makes that sound occasionally
also. I can't tell if this is associated with that or something else. I notice, this
when going at slow speeds or coming to a stop. I'm sure, I will hear the
the normal response from the dealer if I take it in. (Can't duplicate).
That's why, I figured someone might know what this sound is? Before, I decide to
take it in.
