Default 2011 wiring diagam

I was looking for a wiring diagram of 2011 gt 5.0 l convertible. and has anyone been able or herd of a way to unlock the sync nav stereo to get to the advanced controls of the stereo. I have purchased a rear spoiler and camera set from ford and installed it to the car, plugged into the existing plug in the trunk lid, but camera will not activate. Dealer contacted ford and they said there is no way to update or flash the stereo. My question to them or anyone that can answer this is why would the wiring all be there and no software update to stereo ? There has to be a way ? I contacted Ford Lockpic and ordered one of their setups for the mustang and hoping their software will work with the factory camera ? But there must be a way to unlock or update the system to activate the factory camera with the nav system. Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks you SDF

I assume you're talking about the CoastalETech SYNC LockPick. It will work. Just follow the instructions carefully.

As for the wiring diagrams and whatnot, go here: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=499

Hope this helps.

Not sure if this would have what you need but I stumbled onto it one day...

Didn't realize it was the same one as above...

Thanks a lot for the info guys. I hope the lockpick works I all ready have 600 invested in the rear spoiler. Has anyone installed the lockpick on there mustang ?? It looks like a worthy investment to unlock factory settings on nav/dvd unit.

Thanks Again SDF

Did you use an aftermarket rear view camera or did you you buy the stock camera from the dealer ? I bought the stock one . I am hoping it will work. I checked for continuity on the wiring harness plug at the camera end and the screen end and all looks good so I am 99 % sure that all that has to be done is the unlock of the dvd/nav unit. I ordered the lockpick but the are back ordered wont be shipping til Monday.

Thanks SDF

My car came with a back-up cam, so nothing was needed on that end, but the lockpick allows you to add two back-up cams.
