Picking up my 11 5.0 tomorrow
It has 5K miles...6 speed... Is there any special maintenance I should be aware with the low miles or anything I should checkout/change right away? The only thing I plan to do is change oil out to Mobil 1 and buy a few appearance mods. The #8 cylinder scares me. Does BAMA offer the warranty if I buy a used car?
I started with a 99 then graduated to a 07 GT, now the 5.0..... This forum has helped me a lot... ready to learn about the 5.0.....

As far as maintenance is concerned, i would think an oil change would be about it.
As far as power is concerned, i have no desire for more after a month and a half. This car is seriously quick stock.

Yeah I would do an oil change and thats about it.
The car is DEFINITELY quick as hell stock, but the hype wont last too long and you'll be looking for more ;]. I got my car in november and plan on doing a cai/tune in the next month or 2

It isn't much different than getting strung out on crack..once you make the first performance mod it just keeps calling you...wouldn't worry too much about the # 8 problem it has truely been few and far between

it has the 3.73s from the factory too. My 07 had all the little bolt ons and gears... not too much difference.. unless the x pipe and boom tubes made me feel fast lol.

As long as the car hasn't been tuned before I believe BAMA will still offer the warranty. I don't see any reason why not.
I always crave more power... I can't wait till I can afford to supercharge it...sometime in 2016
and by then a new/better mustang will be out that I must trade in for so.. it never ends.

Agree 100%.. Thinking I had that "holy **** it's fast cause it's loud" thing going. lol
already had to get:
Gas
Tums for pregnant wife
