DIY tuning options?

DIY tuning options?
Hi, this is my first post.
I am very seriously considering purchasing a 2012 or 2013 GT with a manual transmission. My question is, are there any programmers/tuning packages that allow you to buy an individual tuning license for the vehicle? I looked on Diablosport and SCT's website, and all I saw were programmers that you let you install canned tunes or custom tunes from authorized dealers. I might have missed something though.
Why do I want DIY capability? I have a lot of experience with DIY tuning on other platforms, so I'd at least like to have access to the actual maps inside the ECU even if I decide not to touch them myself. I am well aware that engine damage can result from mistakes. Even if I don't plan to get in there and mess with something anytime soon, I'd still prefer to have that option. I'm not going to spend thousands on a shop license to tune a gazillion cars; I just want the option of tuning my own.
Any input would be welcome.

you will want Advantage III software, by SCT.
http://www.sctflash.com/products.php?PID=43&VID=
It says 1989-2011 vehicles, so apparently it now covers the
newer 5.0 4v engine.
I have it and enjoy tinkering with my own tunes.
Happy tuning!

^^
what he said basiccly you get the racer version which is the same software what we use(sct dealer/tuners) but you only can tune your car.
learning ford maf based and DBW tune on a 2011 is not the best idea
