does anyone NOT have tranny problems 6MT

I am about to get my 2013 GT. 6MT.
It should arrive any day. I read of all the problems these 6MT have. I did have a 2011 auto V6. It was a great car and never any issues.
Before I dump thousands of $$$$ into a new car, I would like to know if people have the GT manual with no tranny issues.

Yep.....my '11 GT/CS has 13,000+ miles on it with no issues. I do not track the car but I do test the high speed shifting every time I leave the house. I had the TSB for the fluid swap done about 5000 miles ago with no issues before or after. Plus, my wife drives it and I have used it for teaching my grandson to handle a stick shift.

Right now from my reading I can probably say for every 1 person that reports a transmission or clutch problem i see atleast 3 people in a thread report no problems, sometimes more have no problems. I think this was more of a 2011 issue. I don't seem to remember any people with 2012s reporting a problem.

10K on my 2012 6MT and I'm loving it ... of course, I immediately installed new motor mounts, shifter/shifter bracket, clutch line and Redline MTL as soon as I got my car based on everything I was reading at the time, but at this point, it's a great tranny mated to the Coyote 5.0!

Only about 2k here, but no problems so far.......

2011 5.0 6mt and no issues at all, loving this transmission actually. And i drive it hard. 18k miles, 15k driven by a grandma and 3k driven hard by me. Only bad thing thats ever happened was when i tried a hard launch on the street, got no traction so i was going to do a massive burnout, went to shift to 2nd but i guess the skip shift pushed me into 4th, let clutch out and it burned for a sec. Its fine though no damage at all and it runs like day 1 still.

You are only taking into account those people that are actually posting about stuff.

There are thousands of other owners happy or unhappy that do not post in a forum.

Also the fact the unhappy ones are louder than the happy ones (squeaky wheel syndrome) can skew your interpretation.

7500 miles and no problems.

Having to take a wag at it, I'd say this is probably as good as a guess as any. Probably somewhere between 10 and 25% of MT82s have issues. I know mine is less than perfect. There is a poll over on AFM where over 30% of respondents reported issues with the MT82, but that's hardly scientific. Ford says only 3% have reported issues, I suspect this is unrealistically low, and is definitely not taking to account that more of this is likely to pop up over time.

If you're worried about it, get an auto. Just my 2c.

I wouldn't say it's the smoothest transmission, but I don't have any real problems with it. It's probably still being broken in. I haven't put it through its paces yet either.

I'm going to try to get the TSB transmission fluid change when I go in for my first oil change.
