I've had my car a week now and the idle is rough. It varies a couple hundred rpm's constantly. You can't feel the roughness but you can easily see it on the tach.
I've looked online and can't really find an answer. I'm hoping someone can tell me it's normal or if something is wrong.

hmm thats hard to tell becasue it could be so many different things. the first thing i would do is try to get my hands on a On Board Diagnostics (OBD scanner) to make sure all my sensors are good and the ECU is not shooting any codes. but usually if that were the case you would get a check engine light. next thing i would do is a quick check of the car like check out the air filter, maybe replace the fuel filter, look and hear for anything out of the norm

Now it feels like I'm down at least 200 horsepower. The car has no go and feels like a 4 cylinder.

I think it was some bad gas or something. I filled it up on my lunch break and then after a few miles it straightened up. I was getting worried!

The idle issue seems to be normal. I found an article saying that it had something to do with the variable timing. It seems to be running normal again to. I don't know what happened. I live close to Knoxville, tn
