Default smells like burnt clutch

I've had my 2012 gt for 2.5 weeks now. I've got almost 1200 miles on it now. I've noticed the last couple times that I've accelerated hard and hit second hard that when I park I can smell the clutch burning. I don't feel it slipping and I never ride the clutch or anything to damage. I've only ever owned manuals. I've never had this issue. This is the most powerful car I've ever owned so I'm wondering is the stock clutch strong enough for the car.

Stock clutch is fine for the car....could be tire smoke....you ever look behind you when hitting 2nd hard? Are you positive the clutch is released fully when shifting? Cars act different even though we all have experience.......

It very well could be tire smoke. Never noticed the smoke but sure it's there.

Mine did the same thing the first 10-20 times I really ran hard through the gears. Just a short break-in period that stinks a little bit

When I do WOT run my clutch feels like it get's hung up about 3" from the top. Like it does not come up all the way... Does yours? Possible that its not disengaging all the way causing it to burn?

I've noticed what I would call almost a stall sometimes like the clutch engages a second or two after my foots off of it.

^^ That also happens to me here and there. I don't really worry about it, since the clutch doesn't seem to slip at. Probably has something to do with master cylinder pressure dropping off momentarily and then coming back. I don't think the clutch is still engaged at all when it gets hung up like that, though.

I am not worried either...... It's new, so must be somewhat normal, LOL.
