Default Clutch & shift ?

After the break in miles ( 1000 mi ) on my 2013 GT, I noticed & felt the clutch become firmer when I gunned the engine on first & shifted to second. I'm wondering if this is electronically programmed into tne drivetrain when driving aggressively. I'm hopeful there is nothing wrong with my car. Let me know if anyone out there has had the same issue. Thanks!

When you say it feels "firmer" when shifting at higher RPMs, do you mean it feels harder to get into gear?

Sdp: I guess the shifting was normal for a quick shift to second but the clutch was definitely harder to press down.

The shift to second I guess would be considered normal when quick shifting. The clutch was definitely harder to press down on.

Yeah man like you said it had pressure built up against it. I feel it all the time when racing but the higher gears are ok.

Some types of clutch pressure plates have counter-weights designed into them. The weights are centrifugally activated, so the higher RPM you are running, the more clutch pressure will be required to release the clutch. The higher RPM you are running, the stronger the pressure will be on the clutch plate.
Could this be what you are referring to?

Just a theory, but the fluid reservoir is common to the brakes. The vacuum from the brake booster may be coming into play at high rpms.
