I installed mine this weekend and had to buy a longer piece of hose as well for the auto hookup. A couple of screws were missing but I have a ton of nuts and screws laying around so I was able to work around that.

is it possible you guys with autos bought the manual trans packaged one? they have different sku's for mt or at.

bit thrown off that you'd have to fabricate anything to make this work.

Not at all unless they sent me the wrong one, I bought this one.

Not for me. Called Steeda, got the right kit. Sent two pieces of tube the same length, offered to ship the longer one. Declined as that would have meant a weekend without my 'Stang. Cost $1.39 per foot at Advance Auto.

Sounds like Steeda is the way to go, I have been searching for comparisons between Airaid & Steeda to try and make up my mind as to which one to use. So far I think I will go with BAMA for the Tune, But still doing research. Right now I am totally stock 2011 GT Automatic. Thanks for all the great information to be found here!

BAMA is great, don't discount Steeda's tunes though. As someone who has had 4 GTs since 2007 and has used all sorts of tunes, I have to say that Steeda's tune for my 2012 has impressed me completely!

I like my Steeda tune too. Do a search for a CAI comparison thread that Steeda made. Very informative.
