spinning the rear tires

I did it last night with my 13 GT 6 spd quite easily on "smooth" pavement like as found in shopping centers or malls. As I revved the motor and stepped on the brake while AT THE SAME time extending over to the gas pedal, it just kindof of all happened at once after I let go. Did a 14' roast and burnt some layers on my Pirelli's just as the cops lit me up! LOL

Like other's stated; odd thread, but I have driven a stang with good traction and not good traction.
.....
I've turned off advance track and traction control and I did not like it. Dump second at 45 and the rear just went tailing. (Cool day, hot day = great traction.) I have not turned both off since, but I do keep the traction control off at all times.
I don’t really see a automatic spinning much unless you hold that little brake for second. It’s like dumping the clutch at 3 or 4k in a manual.

This is me in my old 4.0. It was an auto. I added track-loc and 3.73 gears and could spin at will.

Notice how I put it in drive while holding down the brakes. I gave it just enough gas to lean forward.. then simultaneously floored it while releasing the brakes. It's, in my opinion, easier to spin the tires in an auto than a stick.
