shoving 275s may help a little bit but ultimately, if you don't have enough wheel width, you're just creating some pudge and not necessarily adding more contact patch.
I am not to technical as far as cars and stuff goes lol.. Do you mean like going with a bigger rim or bigger than 275? Sorry if that was a dumb question lol

Juic - You probably had the old gen- Toyo T1-R. The new tires is excellent in every way. I have them on one of my own cars. Very happy.

Keep in mind that Toyo owns Nitto. Many folks are happy with the newer generation Nitto's as well.

Good to know. Glad someone commented on the Toyos.

I totally agree on adding a wider wheel/tire in the rear. Can the 19x9 wheels that come with the Brembo package even handle a 275? You might find you have to go with a 19x10 inch wheel?

Any answers on that?

Tirerack.com is your friend for "will this tire fit on this rim" types of questions.

Pick the tire you're interested in and go to the 'Spec' tab -- for example, with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport, a 275/30/19 tires will fit on 9 - 10" wide wheels (Rim Width Range), with the best fit (Measured Rim Width) being on a 9.5" rim width.

Putting these on a 9" wheel will show a little "pudge", while putting them on a 10" rim will show a little "stretch", but the install will be safe across the 9 - 10" wheel width range.

I just bought the NT05's for my car, got the 275 on the back they look nasty and perform well for me. though i dont have the power you do (363hp391tq to wheels), i think the 315's would work well for you. its in my opinion the best tire you can get for the street without paying an arm and a leg.

Thats what i have heard. And i have heard that they are just great regardless of price. I'm not so much worried about the price aspect but i do not see paying alot more money for a tire if the Nitto works just as well.
