Have any of you guys had your cars idle for a few mins and hear it "putter" or "burp" through the exhaust?

Also sometimes when im at a stop light and the car is warm it shakes like it's cammed whenever this "putter" or "burp" happends.

both mine and my buddies does it, just wondering if its something serious.

You need load for detonation to happen. You can stop worrying and drive your car.

I used the wrong word how about a miss, n im not worried its nothing but a car to me ill stomp it til it blows then drop it off at ford. I was just hoping to get more then 4500 miles out of it before that had to happen.

Invest in a cheap code reader or go to Autozone and have them hook one up. If you have a real miss it'll tell you that. If it was a serious dead miss it would throw a CEL anyway, instantly.

The occasional misfire is considered normal. Do you have your AC on when this happens? Could be the compressor kicking on.
