yep, leave it in D, manually shifting your auto will be slower than letting it shift on it's own.

Also I agree with grnbayfan, get a tune and it will shift harder and be more fun to drive.

Thanks for the info everyone. I am planning on running it Friday night to see what it does stock. a tune, CAI and axle backs are coming shortly after I run it stock. Let you know how it does.

Default 2013 Mustang GT premium Automatic.

ran it this past friday. Left in in sport mode and just launched it at about 1000 rpm's. it went consistent 13.0's at 110 mph with 2.07 short times. It was a humid night because rain was moving in. Got rained out at the tree on last pass to see if I could break into the 12's. 13.01 was my best at 110.26 with 93 octane and a full tank of gas stock as a rock with 500 miles on it.
