Default Changing tire in 2006 GT

I'm a new forum member, but not new to cars in general. I just got a '06 GT convertible and I need to know how to change a tire. The problem is getting the lug wrench that came with the car to fit onto the lug nuts. There is one locknut on each wheel that I can get off using the special adapter I found in the glove box, but the adapter does not fit any other lug nuts, and the small lug wrench will not fit them either. Probably just a simple 'newbie' lack of knowledge, but any advice here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to MF! ... Sounds like you might have aftermarket lugs nuts!! You have any tools?

Yep, I've got lots of tools. Wonder what size these lug nuts would be?

You will most likely need a deep well socket.

The lock nut wrench is a 'Gorilla' brand. And a 13/16 deep well spark plug socket works on the other nuts. But I'll have carry another wrench to use as the 'tire iron' won't work. Thanks all.
