Hi Guys,
Has any one did just the resonator delete (with the stock muffler) to the 5.0? How is the sound, did it increased rasp or drone?

The stock mufflers are crap for sound. Figure you're trying to find something cheap to do to get some nice sound but you need to trade those out before you start hacking it up.

However, I've heard the gt500's with and without the resonators and it increased the volume. No pitch change, but there was a nice pop and gargle when the engine winds down. Closest thing to the stock axlebacks I have for comparison.

Thanks for the advice. I think that I will wait until I get my GT500 w/o. resonators.
