If you use the go pro externally either use a microphone or use the skeleton door with the camera facing backward. If you face it forward it picks up nothing but wind noise for some strange reason.

Will do, thanks for the idea!

Also, I have the side exhaust fully open now. It really isn't as loud as I remember. I think it was kind of a shell shock from going from just GT500s to an exhaust with some bite. I am VERY happy. =)

Use the skeleton door with black electrical tape over the openings. I don't get any wind noise forward or backward.

forward

I run the sides wide open with Roush axle-backs. Loud. Yes. Awesome. Yes.

Well, I have been driving the car for a few weeks now. Now the initial volume shock is gone and I am used to it, I think it's perfect for driving around. The note is unbeatable and with the radio on, I can't hear it when cruising.

It's a great mod - just expensive for something that doesn't offer any performance benefit. I did a LOT of reading on this before installing it and no one ever seemed to say "I wish I hadn't installed this".

Thats true. I went with with a take-off from a Boss to save some money, rather than the new kit from Ford Racing. Wasn't TOO bad.

Sorry I have been slacking on the video!

This is very interesting:

So, I have been running around the past couple weeks without any tune on the car(stock) and I got a lot of popping on decel. I re-installed my ProCal tune and never realized how much it cleans up the exhaust note! The exhaust is soooo clean now. No more popping, just straight exhaust awesomeness.
