Default Throttle body - pictures and measurement

Can someone get a picture of the front of the throttle body on the 5.0, and what it measures across for me? I'm working on an idea and need that dimension and to see how it mounts to the intake manifold.

Which part of it, the intake tube mount or over-all dimensions for a possible cover? I take it you don't have access to yours.

I have a feeling he's trying to see if he can retro fit a 5.0L TB onto his 3.7L. =)

Actually not trying to retro fit the 5.0 throttle body, but looking at something that will require knowing the relative sizes; there is a nitrous plate system for the 5.0 but not for the 3.7 yet. And a friend just offered up his stock throttle body so I'll have an actual one for comparisons and mock up to see what needs to be done.

Although now that you mention that idea Sparta, I wonder if there would be any advantage if it could be made to work?

Judging from the difference in diameters (80mm for 5.0 vs 70mm? for 3.7) the mounting hole pattern will not work. You'll need an adapter. Sent you a pm for some info.

Thanks Jerry but I will have one in hand to take some measurements from. A friend swapped his on his 2011 so will bring it to our next club meeting.
