Question Does the 2013 GT have a low oil light?

I am just curious since I checked my oil today and was a quart low. Obviously that is not a big deal, but it got me thinking. Do the 5.0's have a low oil light? I am not too familiar with Ford's and this engine. Thanks!

Nope, just pressure and if that lights yer motor's already toast. Keep an eye on that yellow ringed thing under the hood. It's an ancient and now almost obsolete item in modern cars called the "dipstick"...Ooooh, what were those primitives at Ford thinking? They could have built a complex electrical solution to this terrible problem

Haha, yeah. I used that ancient dipstick to check that my oil was a bit low, so I added a quart. I still get a laugh when I read about how the M3 doesn't have a dipstick. That's just crazy. Anyway, my oil pressure has been fine and no warning lights. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I don't think there is one because when mine went below dipstick no lights came out at all. I just got lucky when I randomly checked the dipstick that day.

I check mine every couple of months (I know, should do it more frequently). My car is coming up on 10k miles - I changed the oil around 4k miles, it burned one quart before that oil change and it burned another quart from 4 to 9xxx something. not too bad, it's supposed to burn a little less as it gets some miles on it. I have to imagine there is a fair amount dislocated by not having a catch can installed as well.
