2011+ Mustang Sticking Clutch Pedal Easy Fix Tutorial!
Since I bought the car I've had an issue with the clutch sticking at high rpms when driving the car hard at the track or on the street. Well a guy posted in another forum some instructions for fixing the issue and tried it out and it worked! So here is a video tutorial for everyone since I know a lot of people have this issue! Let me know if you have any questions!!
Here's a video where the guys at lethal talk about the spring and what it does and how it causes the issue.

Fixed My Issue!
Heya iceguyb14,
I just finished removing the helper spring from my mustang earlier today, and it fixed my issue. I originally had a 2011 Mustang and my clutch felt normal and was nothing like my 2013. Based on the symptoms I've observed, my mechanic and I actually thought there was a clutch delay valve like some of the European cars (e.g. BMW E46). Dealer thought I just didn't know how to drive a manual transmission, heh.
Thanks for the great instructional video. I actually found the video before I noticed your post hehe... Hope you don't mind, but I linked this post in my thread Clutch Delay Valve in case others may interpret the symptom as a delay valve like I did. Great looking stang BTW.
Regards,

So, in short, removing the helper spring will eliminate the pedal sticking due to over-pivoting? Also this makes the clutch stiffer and provide more feed back? Just making sure before I remove mine tonight! Thanks

they wouldn't have done anything anyways. at least mine didn't a year ago.. good to finally know there is an easy solution.

Finally got around to it this weekend, and I must say what a difference. Took me about 25 mins as I had a whole world of issues with the damn clip. I used a tiny screw driver to help pop it off. After that, was all easy.
No more clutch stick as well as "bopping" into gear. Seems to be a lot of slack up top and that spring was interfering with granny shifts.
Here is a question, do you think e gt500's spring would be a fix, or does anyone have any ideas for the excess slack? Doesn't bother me too much just got me thinking lol. Thanks again as this worked wonders lol
