Default new setup. thoughts???

Well before the next track season opens in my area of the woods we are adding some things. Going with the Boss 302r heads and the upgrade to the boss cams. Lethals duel pump fuel system, jba shorty headers (so I can keep rest of my exhaust setup). An aluminum driveshaft. Boss gauge pod for aesthetics. Then capping the build with a smaller Vortech pulley and going back to my stock 3.31 gears. I am hoping that this is enough to push my 622hp to 700+.

If you're going to bother with the knuckle busting of changing headers you might as well go with American Racing long tubes, they make a BOSS specific kit with side exits like factory.

not going through any bussle. as I am changing heads it will be easy to put the new heads on with the shorties already attached. Also I wanted headers that would bolt straight to my current setup.

That will be a nice setup for the track. Just wondering why shorties instead of longtubes? AR and kooks both make kits that bolt directly to the boss setups, as long as the factory mid-pipe connection is being used. What is your exhaust setup that calls for shorties? Are you planning on upgrading the rotating assembly at a later date? Sorry for the questions, just curious.

Pretty stout setup. But you don't list any suspension mods in your sig?
