Default H-pipe/exhaust questions

Hi guys,

Currently have a stock GT (2012) with American Thunder Axlebacks. I love them, and can't afford the cat-back version at $900. MBRP sells a 3" to 3" H-pipe that reuses the stock cats. Would adding this H-pipe, then having a local shop fabricate a 3" kit to connect to my American Thunder axlebacks have any performance benefit?

Thanks

Probably no performance gain.......maybe a deeper exhaust note??

dang. I was hoping that the larger diameter H pipe and exhaust would lower to more flow --> less restriction --> more power.
