5.0 gearbox, does it take a supercharger/procharger torque ?
I have a 2013 5.0 with the track package, I've been told that the 5.0 gearbox won't take more torque than it has. so basically I will lose my gearbox in a short amount of time if I install a supercharger. However, the GT500 has a better gearbox that won't face any of those issues.
so what do you think guys ?

Don't buy that at all! the stock 5.0 MT-82 will take whatever torque you can manage to throw at it. I've seen stock GTs with both prochargers and turbos installed putting down well in excess of 600whp with no issues. Also, the gt500 gearbox will not bolt up to the new 5.0. just stick with your stock transmission and don't worry about it when you decide to go forced induction or whatever path you choose

I thought about getting a tremec xl complete set up to go with my soon to be installed Paxton 2200 novi sl but I decided to upgrade my clutch with a spec 3 and jpc clutch line upgrade as well as upgrade heavy duty motor mounts. I have had amsoil mtg 75 -90 gear oil in the tranny since I bought the car and I have no issues with my tranny. I'm sticking with my mt-82 which by far has the best gear ratios to deliver the power to the ground!

If you get the tremec xl kit it comes with a custom fit bellhousing.

The MT-82 is rated to 380lb/ft... in a vehicle weighing 7500lbs. In a Mustang that weighs 3600lbs, it has a torque rating of about 740lb/ft. And that's just a rating. It will generally comfortably handle more than that.
Remember, the MT-82 was originally a truck transmission. Like, heavy truck.

If all the info the others above me still dont ease your fears, then also consider this: FRPP offers a supercharger kit that make 525BHP and even the addition of this supercharger does not replace or eliminate the existing factory warranty.

I wouldn't count on Ford fixing anything after you install a blower.
