guys, i have the Roush Supercharger 540hp - fixing to upgrade to the phase3 kit - pushing to 675hp. my question is - should i beef up the suspension so i don't slide all over the road? i've got the stock suspension & it happens every now and then w/ the base Roush. and any suggestions as to what suspension changes i should make? thanks for any input

new information regarding competition
I just read that there will be a new 2014 camero z28 pushing 500 + hp.
Hope the new 2015 mustang will have something to compete.
I hear ford is going to put a 4 banger with over 300 hp. Why not just keep the v6. It already does that.
I hope ford keeps the 5.0 gt and maybe throws in the 5.4 Liter from the 2012 Shelby without the supercharger and push it to over 500 hp.
Maybe make it the New Mach 1 again. That I might trade for.
Thanks for all the thought about supercharging. I think I will wait. Not that long. A year and a couple weeks....

2015 mustangs
I recently read...2015 Mustangs
4 cylinder,,,,300 hp
6 cylinder,,,,pushing close to 400
8 cylinder the 5.0L 475+ hp
I hope this is all true,,,but since my stang is a 2013 and I with the ProCal
borla S type and new custom wheels and tires,,,underhood dress up stuff
,,,I think I will just keep mine until the 2016 models come out.
Who knows,,,maybe a Mach 1 or something.
There still is the temptation to Roush supercharger....LOL

Are you guys that are already supercharged manual or automatic? I'm wanting to get the roush stage 3 but concerned about the clutch, transmission, and the driveshaft. Am I being paranoid or did yu yupgrade those?

Roush 540 - 675 upgrade
i'm manual but w/ 331 rear end. i never - power burn or pop the clutch - so, i'm still sitting on stock drive train. from what i've read on this and other forums, the tune that Roush gives is still pretty conservative - so u r safe within reason. i've had the upgrade for 5 mths w/ no problems. just a couple of times the over-rev limiter kicked in - so, that's a good thing although i've got some cash set aside "just in case". i know the 5.0 still has more potential but, for me i wouldn't do anything else unless i forged the interals, put a Tremec T-56 Mag XL & changed the d-shaft.
