Default Is a tune required for SVT mufflers & k&n flat filter

I installed GT 500 take-off mufflers and a K&N flat filter. Do I need to get a tune now?

Not required but stick with the stock paper filter.

It filters just as well as a K&N, perhaps better. Any negligible increase in airflow provided by the K&N is not utilized unless the car is tuned to compensate for it. I don't think the K&N provides any more airflow over the stock filter anyways, but hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject chimes in.

That pretty much sums it up plus in testing the K&N lost power over the stock filter. Regardless you can spend your money more wisely somewhere else.
