Everyday driver and i have a 2nd vehicle as well. not only that my stang is super charged putting out over 600hp! Its great in winter!

DD. I would not put anything that light in the transmission unless you plan on paying for the replacement. Ford spec is for a heavy weight (i don't recall the exact number, cant find it) fluid.

Amsoil exceeds ford spec, if you want something better then oem its an oil that exceeds spec. Amsoil will prolong the life of the tranny not shorten it.

Just throwing this out there, if you haven't done it before wear clothes you don't care about. It is the most vile smelling stuff I've ever encountered. It's how I imagine broken dreams and lost hopes would smell if bottled. Just saying...you don't want to get it on something you plan to keep.

Oem fluids are bare necessity and leave alot to be improved upon! I use amsoil signiture series 5-20 motor oil and i use amsoil extreme pressure 75-140 diff oil with amsoil friction modifier in my rear diff! The **** works great!
