Just an FYI, I lost MPG with my headers, kinda against the grain a bit.

I was wondering about the us/canadian gallon thing, couldn't believe someone was getting over 30 mpg. Best I got was 27, bout 1.5 hours at 70 and another hour at 55. Now after mods I'm getting a big ole 22 mpg.

Default mileage unit

Its normally between 7.8-8.2L/100kms hwy. 11/100kms. according to the computer, I just switched the units onboard in the menu. I'm fairly sure its measuring the same as all the other 2013-2014gts. Whether it be us or canadian. A well paved road will give me an increase of 1.5 mpg. Politicians take note. We can all save gas if you fix the roads.

Nobody said that he was complaining. I was referring to all fuel mileage threads in general.

So I will comfortably grandpa drive my mustang around town, and cruise past the guy pulled over for imprudent driving. Maybe I respect the things I own call me crazy.
Then why bolt-on to reach 400 RWHP if you're going to 'grandpa' the car? If you respect the things you own, you won't put some POS throttle body on it like people are saying not to do. If you want fuel economy, go with the things that will actually help it. I agree that knowledge is acquired, but you don't have to spend $500 to learn if people have already done it and posted about it on the internet. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

I saw you post about putting gears in another thread. Adding bolt-ons for fuel economy, then adding gears would be going in the wrong direction. Just my 2 cents.

Default gears

At my desired cruising speed if I am just in the bottom of the torque band I will get better fuel economy then if I am "lugging" the engine. I get better mileage at 1500 rpm then i do at 1000 rpm.

Why have a 400 horsepower car that gets 35 mpg ? Does that really need an explanation. Name another car that does that and looks as good as a 2013 GT.

Unfortunately The JLT intake is a 4inch straw with my hood. All of the intakes with exposed cone filters see more water and exposure then they probably should with the 2013 hood vents, and that piece of foam is laughable at best, disapointed as I was expecting to see a mileage increase.

Tommorow I will be getting my BAMA tune and trying out there tunes and am excited to post some results. This Friday I will be receiving my VMP tunes and even more excited to measure them up to BAMA on a basicly stock vehicle.

Right now my only mod installed is the KN drop in filter and am quite please with it, noticed a power increase from 3500rpm on and gained 1 mpg city and hwy.

I'm completely stock with a 2013 M6, best so far has been 32.5 at 60mph.

I have a 2014 GT Premium loaded to the gills. AT, 3:15 gears. With 1700 miles on the odometer, I'm averaging 20 mpg in mixed city/highway driving. My 2010 GT with AT and 3:31 gears got 18.5 mpg with the same driving. The 3:15 gearing seems kinda high but the AT and 390 Ft Lbs torque can pull it off! The 5.0 is a real beast.

Oh, I'm in Wichita too.

That is about what I am getting, but when I upped my oil to 5w-30 it went down like 0.5 MPG. no big deal though. If I keep my traffic mainly highway to work and back (staying off the fun twisty back roads) I can get up to 20 mpg even with the heavier oil. Going to Talladega from Memphis I avg'd. about 22-23mpg going avg of 80 mph. That also involved some drafting with people who happened to be going to the same place, lol.
