What is "normal" 2014 GT manual tranny noise?
Men, I am sure this topic has been beaten to death but I have to ask. Took the Green Meanie on a 3 hr highway drive today and I was just surprised at the amount of cabin noise...gear whine and a low freq hum that sounded very faintly of a bad wheel bearing. Could not isolate it and it did not increase in frequency with speed. I know all cars have their own signature sound, and I like this one's...as long as I dont have any worries Is it safe to say that these 5.0's are pretty loud? The exhaust note is amazing quite loud for a stock car. I can deal with the clunky tranny as it seems that is the norm with the mt82. Anybody care to lend an opinion as to what "normal" is? because quiet and tranquil is NOT what I have here. Thanks again men!!

You were right man, many many many threads and opinions on any and every subject out there....I think I am going to just drive and have fun for awhile My 16 yo son comes back from Spain today . He has been gone for 6 weeks and EVERY day has been asking "can we get the mustang dad"? and "when will you get it"...etc etc. He has no idea that I bought it and have it waiting in the garage, facing out ready for him to open the door. Gonna be a grand sight
