FRPP GT 500 control arms, nvh ?
#4
Had them on my BBP car stock. they are completely quiet, as oem should be but, I wouldn't spend money on them to "upgrade". look elsewhere. The upper is the cause of wheelhop in these cars. Roush is completley innoticeable for nvh and works well.

Lower arm
I managed to get a pair of the gt 500 arms for 89 dollars, I don't have any wheel hop, but lots of squatting was hoping these would lessen the squat. Thats great to know about the Roush upper arm, If I experience any hop, ill be sure to pick that up.

You could have had a set of inexpensive poly lowers like UMI for $89 on a good day and they'd destroy the GT500s.
Squatting is a function of the spring rates and weak shock damping. The arms have little to no effect on this.
Even with Brembo springs/shocks and bar, I lay my slick tires right up in the wheel wells at the dragstrip, with poly LCAs.
You don't want to stiffen up too much here and remove all articulation.

Highly recommend the non adjustable bmr control arms w/ relocation brackets which are inexpensive and do the job. You won't really be able to fully appreciate the lca's benefits unless you take it out to the track or launch it from a stop to kill the wheel hop the stockers unfortunately create. hope this helps let me know if there is anything else!

If you want to reduce squat you need LCA relocation brackets.

At standard ride height, how beneficial are the relocation brackets? I too have bad squating and am not planning on lowering the vehicle anytime soon. I chose not to purchase relocation brackets because I was under the impression it was primarily for lowered vehicles.
Say I purchase the Whiteline relocation brackets what influence does the position I install them at have with the rise/squat/launch? Say I set at the lowest verses the highest?
