Default Texas Inspection

New Guy here and was wondering if our tunes that have the cats deleted will pass inspection. I'm in Tarrant county. I had to have my exhaust welded so my only other option would be to weld some pipes in on my cats.I hated having to weld it but it was the only option at the time. Thanks for any input.

They do a OBD2 port check in Tarrant County, so it will depend on 3 things for you to pass: 1) If your tuner set the O2s/Cats to read "NA". 2) If the inspector is looking at the NA description of just looking for "not ready" conditions and 3) If they do a visual inspection of the cats. I would not go to a place that has oil change pits. It makes it too easy to do the visual. If they have to crawl on the ground or put it on a lift to do the visual, they probably won't do the visual check.

What should the tuner put in the tune for it to pass?
