Default tune for more torque?

I've had my stang for a month now and notice that it has great mid-to upper rpm power, but kind of wish it had a little more torque down low. What tune is best for for increasing power and mostly torque in the first couple gears? From the searches I've done it sounds like the Ford Procal would be the way to go, especially since I want something that won't void the warranty. But it also sounds like the Diablosport Intune gives a slightly better peak gain (although the Procal is supposed to give a big 60 ft/lb bump at 1500 rpms) and supposedly doesn't leave a footprint on the PCM. The Diablo also would be useful for reading and clearing trouble codes if necessary. I'm not sure if the Procal can?

Manual, 2014 base model with 3.73 gears. I just recently started getting on it as I wanted to break it in good. First gear seems almost worthless unless you rev it up a bit at takeoff. I don't have many plans for performance upgrades at this point except for a tune and maybe some exhaust work later on.

Manual with 3.73s..and want more?! It should be a beast already! That said, I'm guessing you are noticing the spongy feeling below 3500 rpm.

Have you turned traction control off? If not, try it for a bit with it off. Cruise in 2nd gear up to 3000 rpm...then floor it..and hold on!

Yeah, I know it has plenty of power above 3k rpm, but at takeoff its usually slower than ordinary cars (most likely automatics) unless you are ready and rev it up a bit before launch.

Well I have same gears but I have no cats so I lost some initial torque, also have mickey'a street comp 285s on the rear and I can't land first gear even if I roll into it. I can spin second if I don't feather it. I don't think you need to focus on torque as much as your launch technique. Finally raced a C5 base from light to light, he killed me by one car out the hole, I spun all of first and second (was way to anxious), when I no lift shifted 3rd I pulled him by a fender before we had to shut it down.

So yes I get burned off the light but let me grab second or 3rd lol.

Procal II does this, from Ford Racing, better than others, in my view. It totally aggros the car. I have a 2012 3.73 M6 loaded and it has fired this car to 11s on essentially a tire + this tune. My results are a little out of the ordinary but the driving experience isn't.
