Bad a/c blend door actuator

Bad a/c blend door actuator
Is there a trick to finding out which of the four actuators is bad? I read somewhere that pulling the wires on each one until the clicking stops will tell me. Anyone know any other tricks to help pinpoint the faulty actuator?
