Instead replace the torque converter to a high 3000 to 3500 stall. It will help you 0.5 sec in the quarter and will feel way faster.

I decided against the converter as my wife uses the mustang quite a bit.

Default 3.31 automatic GT

The gear swap went well. First gear is noticeably steeper. Second feels better too. Full throttle on the factory all season tires will spin all through first.

Overall about as noticeable difference as stock to procal tune.

Next Season = control arms and tires.

The 3.15's on the automatics do just fine. Unless you are trying to set record breaking 1/4 mile times, you will be almost as quick with 3.15. Wouldnt go over 3.31 on an auto unless you are forced induction. Know many people that went 3.73 's and hated it
