Default How much to ask when selling a motor?

2013 Mustang GT 65,000 miles. I would like to have it pulled and sold. Goal would be to leave everything to connect another crated engine. What to asking for a selling price? $5000?

That's a lot for a relatively high mile stocker. You can buy a built shortblock for less. But, it depends on your local market, bc you probably don't want to ship it. You might want to run a compression test before you pull it so you can at least try to prove the motor is in good shape. Video it running as well, with shots that make it obvious it's the same car and shoot the tailpipes so buyers can see it doesn't smoke.
