Track App Question
 

I'm a new owner and new to this forum so I may have mistakenly posted my question in the incorrect place (new members forum) first time around, sorry about that. I'm pasting the question again below, in the correct place this time, I hope.

I am the proud new owner of a 2014 Premium w/Track Package and 6 speed. It has all the goodies, 3.73 rear, Brembo Brakes, glass roof, 19" wheels...I love this car, it's the most fun I've ever had driving! I'll be sure to come back and post a picture. In the meantime, I'm hoping that someone can help me with a question. My understanding is that this car should have the track apps installed, however they do not show up on my menu. I've looked in the user manual and it's no help. The selection for "Track Apps" doesn't exist for me to select. Is it possible that my car didn't come with it? That seems unlikely, given the trim level of this vehicle (it sold for $44K in 2014). I read somewhere that it could have something to do with the https://www.ebay.com/sch/eBay-Motors/6000/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=keythat is being used? The dealer only had one key when I bought it. Perhaps there is a way for me to reset the https://www.ebay.com/sch/eBay-Motors/6000/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=system? Am I missing something?

Any insight you all could provide would be most appreciated. I'm looking forward to contributing on this site.

Linc, I have the same car only with the automatic tranny, and I installed 3:55 gears. Here is my understanding. Track APPS comes only on Premium cars and is standard with them (V6 and V8).
The Track PACK is an Option on all GT's (v8). Did you buy this ride new, or used? What comes to mind is, if it was used, could there be a program in it and is overriding your options.

Thanks for the reply. Turns out, the issue was related to MyKey, the dealer only had one key and as luck would have it, it wasn't the admin key. Soooo....I had a locksmith make a new key and get rid of the MyKey setting, pain in the butt. But now I have track apps! Thanks again!

Hay LINK, I wish all of our problems were this quick to find a solution to. By the way, I have close to the same car, except 6 speed auto and 3:55 gears. Best of wishes with your new ride.
