Default UPR Dual Valve Catch Can on Boosted Coyote

Hey guys, sorry this is going to be a long one. I purchased a UPR Dual Valve Catch Can part number 5030-108. There were no included instructions but install seemed pretty straightforward. Dirty side hose to top of can, clean side hose to one side of the can, WOT line from intake tube (pre supercharger) to other side of can.

I initially installed it with the check valve on the dirty side line but was getting some oil puking out the dipstick hole after a pull. UPR support suggested removing the check valve so I did. Didn't help.

UPR support then suggests getting the Vented Oil Cap Breather part number 013-01. Now I am getting tons of oil out of that breather. It seems like there is something wrong with how I have the can routed causing excessive crankcase pressure and its finding the path of least resistance.

Can anyone double check my work and see if I have everything hooked up correctly? The burnt oil smell is getting old fast. Pervious setup was just a breather on both valve covers and I had some oil residue on the valve covers but no smell. Would love to not have to wipe down oil spray every time I drive the car.

"Dirty" line goes to the top.

You have the "clean" and "WOT" lines wrong, reverse the connections at the can.

This is all you need for a catch can setup:

PCV to Can inlet, which is above the baffle with steel mesh, then the other side to the intake.

They call the DIRTY side that, because oil only comes out of the PCV on that side.
So, mine, is Dirty side, then to the intake plenum behind the TB...

What people are also doing now, is putting stainless steel coils inside the hose to
whip the oil off the vapors, so it strips more oil out of the vapor. This also
prevents the hose from collapsing if it would ever weaken to that point...

Mine has a TOP nozzle if I wanted to use it, but I don't need to. This works very
well.

Pretty sure I have it figured out now. My tuner made me get rid of my old catch can set up exactly like this because it was boost pressurizing the crankcase. I now have the check valve right after the intake manifold and its not leaking oil anymore but I am getting P0300 and P0316 which I'm assuming is a vacuum leak from a weak connection somewhere.

Both those codes are misfire codes.

P0300 is the random misfire, which can be an air intake leak. This means, air is getting
in after the MAF, and yeah, can be at one of the hose connections.

P0316 is, the Crankshaft Position sensor signal is monitored by the Engine Control Module (ECM) for errors.
The P0316 code is set when ECM is detects a misfire during the first 1,000 revolution test interval following
engine start.

The first one may be causing that one, but diagnostics on this one are all electrical, where as diagnostics
include electrical and an air leak on the first one.
